World IPv6 Launch Day at 6 June 2012

Date: 19.01.2012,

After the successful event of the World IPv6 Day 2011, where top websites and Internet service providers around the world joined together with more than 1000 other participating websites for a global-scale trial of the new Internet Protocol, IPv6, the Internet Society is organizing the World IPv6 Launch Day, now.

Major Internet service providers (ISPs), home networking equipment manufacturers, and web companies around the world are coming together to permanently enable IPv6 for their products and services by 6 June 2012.

4th German IPv6 Summit 2011

On December 1st and 2nd, 2011 the 4th German IPv6 Summit will be held at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Potsdam according to the motto "Online on the Road - the new IPv6 Standard as driving forces for mobile communication".
