Potsdam. Der Deutsche IPv6-Rat, der sich für den schnellen und großflächigen Umstieg auf das Internet der neuen Generation einsetzt, hat auf seiner kommenden Sitzung am Freitag, 16. März, den Bundesbeauftragten für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Peter Schaar, zu Gast. Die rund 30 Vertreter aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft wollen in nichtöffentlicher Sitzung mit Schaar vor allem seinen Wunsch diskutieren, auch dann eine anonyme Internetnutzung zu ermöglichen, wenn jedes netzfähige Gerät eine feste IPv6-Adresse bekommt ... After the successful event of the World IPv6 Day 2011, where top websites and Internet service providers around the world joined together with more than 1000 other participating websites for a global-scale trial of the new Internet Protocol, IPv6, the Internet Society is organizing the World IPv6 Launch Day, now. Major Internet service providers (ISPs), home networking equipment manufacturers, and web companies around the world are coming together to permanently enable IPv6 for their products and services by 6 June 2012.
