Constanze Bürger was born in 1970 in Peitz, Germany. She obtained a diploma degree in computer science (1999) from Coblence University. Since 2001, she has been working as a desk officer at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Germany.

During this time she has been involved with various projects and aspects of information technology such as: BundOnline 2005 - e-government initiative Germany, IT Strategy, IT Security, Network conceptions or management of the Federal Government‘s Berlin-Bonn Information Network.
