The winners of the Best Practice Award will have the possibility to give a fully-fledged presentation & demonstration of their product/ technology/ implementation at the 3rd German IPv6 Summit 2010 including widely distributed press releases.
Application Requirements
Applicants can be companies, groups or individuals of any nationality. Applicants are required to submit the contest application in either German or English.
Direct entries are encouraged as well as nominations from users and solution providers.
Submit max. 8 pages (A4) and provide (online) live-demonstrations and/or video-demonstrations.

Application Registration
All applications MUST be preceded by an Advance Entry Registration.
Please click here (link offline) to access the registration form for category Best Practice.If you want to participate with more than one entry, you just need to assign once. Later on you can register further Contest applications with your personal account in the Login area.
After Sending Registration Request
We will review your request and send you a confirmation email within a few days. With this email you can approve your registration and unlock your account. You will find there your registration number too - please be sure to save it.- Transmit your data
Login to upload your submissions (max. 8 pages (A4)) and video-demonstrations. You can also provide a link to an online live-demonstration instead of the video.

Application Regulations
- The applicant/nominee will maintain all applicable intellectual, technology and design copyrights for entries submitted to the contest.
- Submitted entries will be disclosed on the Contest website.
- Costs associated with entry must be paid for by the applicant/nominee.
- Please submit entries after ensuring that the submission does not invade any copyrights or related rights of others. When copyrighted or related rights materials, such as art, motion picture, photography or music are used, please ensure approval from the rights holders before applying. If an invasion of rights or compensation for loss is insisted by a third party, the applicant must take full responsibility and handle the issue. The Contest Organizer will not be held responsible for such issues.
- Concerning any damage or loss which may occur during transportation or the Contest, or any other related damages, the Contest Organizer will not accept responsibility for compensation. If applicable, applicants/nominees must have insurance for entries or related documents.
- If the Contest Organizer reproduces or edits the entry for the sake of judgment, the control of the reproduction is endowed to the Contest Organizer.
- Concerning matters not detailed in the Application Procedures, any decision required by the Contest Organizer will be considered final. If the applicant/nominee disapproves of the decision, the applicant/nominee may withdraw from the Contest within 7 days of notification.
- The Application Procedures are based upon, interpreted and made effective by German law. If a legal issue arises, the Amtsgericht Potsdam will be the exclusive agreement jurisdictional court of first instance.

- Judging Criteria
The Evaluation Committee, which consists of board companies of German IPv6 Council, IPv6 related groups, public organizations, media related companies, will select winners. Judging will be based on entries/nominees content submitted (max 8 pages (A4) as pdf, live-demonstrator and/or video presentation). - Announcement of Results
Winners will be notified from the Contest Secretariat directly. Please note that only Award Winners will be contacted. Also please note that questions cannot be answered concerning decisions of the Judging Committee. Winners will be announced both at the Awards Ceremony and on the Contest website. Notification to a third party will also be done using publication resources provided by the Contest Organizer. - Presentation of Results
Winners have the possibility to deliver a fully fledged presentation & demonstration in the course of the 3rd German IPv6 summit to showcase their unique solutions, and use the summit as a conduit to valuable connections, industry recognition, and other external audiences including widely distributed press releases. - Awards Ceremony
The Awards Ceremony will be held as a conference session of 3rd German IPv6 Summit 2010 on June 24th 2010.
