International IPv6 Application Contest 2010
The German IPv6 Council invites applications for the International IPv6 Application Contest 2010. The objectives of this contest are the generation of ideas and applications, which help determine how to introduce IPv6, the internet of the next generation on a large scale and use it effectively. 2nd German IPv6 Summit

National IPv6 Action Plan for Germany presented
At the 2nd German IPv6 Summit at Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam, May 14-15, 2009 the German IPv6 Council presented the National IPv6 Action Plan for Germany, which contains a a list of measures to be taken to enable an efficient nationalwide changeover towards the deployment of the new Internet Protocol IPv6 for the german politics, public services, economy, and science. 3rd Meeting of the German IPv6 Council in Potsdam
On February 13, 2009, the German IPv6 Council will meet at the Hasso Plattner-Institute in Potsdam for the 3rd time. Subject of the meeting will the outcome of the 3rd German IT-summit on November 20th, 2008 in Darmstadt, the upcoming "IPv6 Actionplan for Germany", the admission of new members, and the planning of further IPv6-related activities for 2009 [read more].
